We have only recently started offering our services publicly but, as scientists, we are in the privileged position of having experience on both sides of the fence: over the years, we have not only participated in the organisational aspects of meetings, but we have also attended a wide variety of conferences, workshops, etc. As attendees, our experience ranges from simple participation to poster presenters, from short oral communications to plenary speakers.
